Job Title: Food Store Supervisor

Ontario Ltd. is seeking a highly skilled Food Store Supervisor to join our team. As a key member of our retail operations team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily activities of our food store, ensuring excellent customer service, and driving sales growth.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise Staff: Lead and motivate a team of staff members, providing guidance and support to ensure they meet their performance goals.
  • Hire and Train: Recruit, train, and develop staff members to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to excel in their roles.
  • Authorize Payments: Verify and approve payments made by staff members, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies.
  • Establish Work Schedules: Create and manage work schedules to ensure adequate staffing levels and optimal productivity.
  • Resolve Issues: Address customer complaints, supply shortages, and other issues that may arise, providing solutions and ensuring customer satisfaction.
  • Organize Inventory: Manage and maintain inventory levels, ensuring accurate stock counts and minimizing waste.
  • Supervise Activities: Oversee the daily activities of staff members, ensuring they are working efficiently and effectively.
  • Oversee Payroll: Manage payroll administration, ensuring accurate and timely payment of staff members.
  • Conduct Performance Reviews: Evaluate staff performance, providing feedback and coaching to improve performance and achieve goals.
Requirements:
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a supervisory role.
  • Language: English.
  • Work Hours: 30 to 40 hours per week.
