Job Title: Food Store Supervisor

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Food Store Supervisor to join our team at Ontario Ltd.

Job Summary:

The Food Store Supervisor will be responsible for supervising staff, hiring and training employees, authorizing payments, establishing work schedules, and resolving issues that may arise. The successful candidate will have excellent leadership and communication skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of staff, including apprentices, stages hands, and design team members.
  • Hire and train new employees, or arrange for their training.
  • Authorize payments by cheque and oversee payroll administration.
  • Establish work schedules and ensure that tasks are completed efficiently.
  • Resolve issues that may arise, including customer requests, complaints, and supply shortages.
  • Organize and maintain inventory, and supervise the activities of workers.
  • Conduct performance reviews and provide feedback to employees.
Requirements:
  • 5-10 years of experience in a supervisory role.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • High school graduation certificate.
Working Conditions:

The Food Store Supervisor will work in a fast-paced retail environment, with regular exposure to customers and staff. The successful candidate will be required to work a minimum of 30-40 hours per week, with flexibility to work additional hours as needed.

The primary language of work is English.
