About the Role

We are seeking a reliable and physically capable individual to join our team as a Mechanic Assistant at 1178441 BC LTD. As a key member of our operations team, you will play a vital role in supporting our tradespersons and ensuring the smooth execution of our projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Tool and Equipment Management: Assist in the movement and organization of tools, equipment, and materials to ensure efficient project execution.
  • Site Support: Provide assistance to tradespersons, apprentices, and other workers as directed, ensuring a safe and productive work environment.
  • Cleanliness and Maintenance: Clean machines and immediate work areas to maintain a safe and healthy working environment.
Work Environment

As a Mechanic Assistant, you will be working in a fast-paced outdoor environment with varying weather conditions. You will be required to work at heights, in confined spaces, and in areas with potential hazards such as noise, dust, and odors.

Requirements
  • Physical Demands: The role requires a high level of physical fitness, with the ability to lift heavy loads (up to 23 kg/50 lbs) and work in a combination of sitting, standing, and walking positions.
  • Manual Dexterity: You will need to possess good manual dexterity and be able to handle tools and equipment with precision.
  • Workload and Pressure: You will be working in a physically demanding environment with a large workload and under pressure to meet deadlines.
