Food Preparation Team Leader

The Food Service Supervisor plays a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of culinary services within our establishment. This position requires strong leadership skills and a commitment to maintaining high standards of food quality and service.
Qualifications- Education: Completion of secondary (high) school graduation certificate is required.
- Experience: A minimum of 1 year to less than 2 years of relevant experience in food service management.
- Develop and implement effective methods to meet work schedules.
- Oversee and coordinate the activities of staff responsible for food preparation and portioning.
- Provide training to staff on job responsibilities, sanitation practices, and safety protocols.
- Assess and estimate the ingredients and supplies necessary for meal preparation.
- Ensure that all food and service adhere to established quality control standards.
- Prepare budget plans and cost estimates for culinary operations.
- Address and resolve customer complaints or concerns promptly.
- Maintain accurate records of inventory, repairs, sales, and waste management.
- Compile food order summaries for the chef to facilitate efficient meal preparation.
- Establish and manage work schedules for the team.
This role involves supervising a team of 1 to 2 individuals.
Work EnvironmentThis is a permanent position requiring a commitment of 30 to 40 hours per week, with English as the primary working language.
