Grocery Department Leader

As a Grocery Manager at Federated Co-operatives Limited, you will play a key role in leading the Grocery Department in one of our thriving stores. This is an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic team and contribute to the success of our member-owners.

• Provide leadership and support to the grocery team members to achieve budgeted goals.
• Ensure top-notch customer service satisfaction by providing a positive shopping experience.
• Organize, direct, and coordinate the operations of the grocery store team to maintain a high level of merchandising, product, and facility image.
• Maintain consistent buying and selling policies to ensure competitive prices.
• Be responsible for accounting and reporting procedures as required.
• Assist the Food Manager in preparing and implementing the annual budget.

• A minimum of three years of relevant experience in retail, with one year of experience in leadership/supervisory capacity.
• Experience in a retail food store would be an asset.
• Ability to handle multiple demands – adaptable, organized, efficient, and committed.
• Customer service-focused and possess good problem-solving skills.
