About the Role

Key Responsibilities
  • Transportation and Delivery: Operate and drive straight or articulated trucks to transport goods and materials, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to safety protocols.
  • Vehicle Maintenance: Regularly inspect and maintain the condition of the vehicle, including tires, lights, brakes, cold storage, and other equipment.
  • Documentation and Record-Keeping: Accurately record cargo information, hours of service, distance traveled, and fuel consumption, as well as process bills of lading, cargo manifests, and other documents.
  • Safety and Security: Ensure compliance with safety procedures and regulations, including driver's validity license checks and driving record checks.
  • Communication and Planning: Effectively communicate with dispatchers and other stakeholders to plan trips, coordinate logistics, and resolve any issues that may arise.
Requirements and Qualifications
  • Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma required.
  • Experience: 3 years to less than 5 years of experience in a related field.
  • Language: Fluency in English.
  • Physical Demands: Ability to lift up to 13.5 kg (30 lbs) and work in a fast-paced environment.
