Job Title: Truck Driver

Excel Transportation Inc is seeking a skilled Truck Driver to join our team. As a Truck Driver, you will be responsible for safely operating a tractor-trailer combination to transport goods across various routes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate a tractor-trailer combination to transport goods
  • Perform pre-trip, en route, and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety
  • Load and unload goods, and perform brake adjustments as needed
  • Communicate with central dispatch and relay information
  • Record cargo information, hours of service, distance traveled, and fuel consumption
  • Ensure the safety and security of cargo
Requirements:
  • Air Brakes Endorsement
  • Class 1/1F/A Licence (semi trailer trucks)
  • Defensive Driving Course
  • Driver's License (Class 1 or A)

Work Environment:

As a Truck Driver, you will be working in a fast-paced environment with varying weather conditions. You will be required to sit for extended periods and lift up to 45 kg (100 lbs).
