About the Role

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Logistics Coordinator to join our team at Relay Lines Canada Inc. As a key member of our supply chain team, you will be responsible for coordinating activities with other work units or departments, monitoring the movement of supplies and materials, and ensuring the smooth operation of our warehouse and production units.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supply Chain Coordination: Co-ordinate activities with other work units or departments to ensure efficient supply chain operations.
  • Inventory Management: Monitor the movement of supplies and materials between departments and ensure accurate inventory levels.
  • Reporting and Record-Keeping: Prepare and submit reports, maintain work records and logs, and ensure accuracy of completed time sheets and payroll summaries.
  • Equipment Maintenance: Ensure proper functioning of equipment, arrange for maintenance and repair work, and perform light cleaning duties.
  • Customer Service: Provide customer service and communicate with ships, aircraft, and other remote operations.
  • Work Scheduling: Establish work schedules and procedures, and co-ordinate, assign, and review work.
  • Inventory Control: Organize and maintain inventory, and establish procedures for requisitioning or ordering materials, equipment, and supplies.
Requirements
  • Education: College/CEGEP or equivalent experience.
  • Experience: Experience an asset.
  • Language: English.
  • Work Hours: 30 hours per week.
Working Conditions

This is a permanent position with a regular schedule. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and organizational skills, and be able to work effectively in a team environment.
