After School Program Coordinator

Position Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated individual to oversee our before and after school program at Prospect Road Elementary. This role is crucial in providing a safe and engaging environment for children.
Key Qualifications:
- A minimum of one year of experience in the child care sector is required.
- Familiarity with recreational programming is essential.
- Strong communication skills are a must.
- Ability to collaborate effectively within a team setting.
- High School Completion Certificate or an equivalent qualification is necessary.
Preferred Qualifications:
- A valid First Aid/CPR Certification is advantageous.
- Compensation is set at $18.28 per hour, in addition to vacation pay.
- Work hours are scheduled from Monday to Friday, 7:30 AM to 8:45 AM and 2:15 PM to 6:00 PM.
Additional Benefits:
Children of employees at Prospect Road Elementary are eligible to participate in the program at no cost.
Various paid training opportunities are available, including High Five, First Aid/CPR, Non-Violent Crisis Intervention, and Fundamental Movement Skills.
Opportunities for Additional Hours:
There is potential for increased working hours based on program needs.
