Position Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Hair Stylist to provide exceptional hair care services in a vibrant salon environment. The ideal candidate will possess a strong passion for hairstyling and a commitment to delivering high-quality results.

Qualifications
  • Education: Completion of a relevant trades certificate or diploma.
  • Experience: Previous experience in hairstyling is an asset.
Work Environment

The successful candidate will work in a barbershop or hairstyling salon/studio, collaborating with a team of professionals to create a welcoming atmosphere for clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform hair cutting and trimming according to client specifications.
  • Shampoo and condition clients' hair to ensure a clean and fresh look.
  • Provide beard and mustache grooming services.
  • Apply various hair coloring techniques, including bleaching, tinting, and streaking.
  • Style hair using cutting, curling, and perming techniques.
  • Advise clients on suitable hairstyles that complement their features.
Certifications
  • Hairstylist Trade Certification.
  • Hairstylist Licence.
Technical Skills
  • Proficient in blow drying and hair braiding.
  • Skilled in iron waving and curling.
  • Experienced in performing permanent waves.
Additional Information
  • Transportation: Candidates should have their own means of transportation.
  • Physical Requirements: Ability to demonstrate manual dexterity and attention to detail.

Compensation
