Assistant Store Manager

We are seeking an experienced Assistant Store Manager to join our team at Walmart Canada. As a key member of our store management team, you will be responsible for driving sales growth, managing store operations, and leading a team of associates to deliver exceptional customer service.
Key Responsibilities- Drive Sales Growth
Develop and implement strategies to drive sales growth, achieve sales and profit goals, and manage budgets and sales forecasts.
- Manage Store Operations
Oversee store operations, including merchandise presentation, pricing, and store standards, to ensure a positive shopping experience for customers.
- Lead a Team of Associates
Recruit, train, and develop a team of associates to deliver exceptional customer service, drive sales growth, and maintain a positive store environment.
- Implement Asset Protection and Safety Controls
Develop and implement asset protection and safety controls to prevent loss and ensure a safe working environment for associates and customers.
- Serve Customers
Provide exceptional customer service, respond to customer feedback, and resolve customer complaints in a timely and professional manner.
- Support Community Initiatives
Participate in and support community events and initiatives to build relationships with key community groups and promote the store's role in the community.
- Develop Associates
Develop and implement training programs to develop associates' skills and knowledge, and identify high-potential associates for career advancement opportunities.
- Comply with Company Standards
Ensure compliance with company standards and procedures, including cash handling, merchandise handling, and safety protocols.
