Job Title: Houseperson

Hotel Arts Group is seeking a detail-oriented and organized individual to join our Housekeeping Department as a Houseperson.

The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining the public, employee, retail, and guest floor areas of the Hotel Arts Complex, ensuring a clean and welcoming environment for our guests and employees.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Clean public spaces, including the lobby, fitness centre, pool area, office areas, staff locker rooms, stairwells, backspaces, corridors, parkade, and exterior spaces.
  • Perform graffiti removal, power washing awnings, front drive, and entrances.
  • Carry out carpet and upholstery cleaning as assigned.
  • Report maintenance concerns and maintain guest room hallways and service areas.
  • Assist with laundry sorting and folding as needed.
Requirements:
  • Flexible schedule with availability to work weekdays, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • 1-2+ years' experience in Housekeeping in Hotels or janitorial services companies an asset.
  • Valid Class 5 Driver's License and experience in driving a 2-ton truck (required for Laundry delivery as needed).
  • Ability to operate various pieces of cleaning equipment, including floor scrubbing and buffing equipment, shampoo equipment, and power washing equipment.
  • Standing, walking, and other ranges of movement for long periods of time and some heavy lifting required.
