Key Responsibilities:- Screen, assess, and counsel patients and families concerning emotional and practical needs associated with their diagnosis.
- Provide consultation to other disciplines and work as a member of an interdisciplinary team.
- Develop and facilitate group programs to meet the needs of patients and families.
- Participate in planning and development of educational activities and quality improvement programs.
- Provide clinical guidance to students and volunteers as required.
- Master's degree in a social sciences discipline relevant to the job.
- Minimum of two years of recent experience working in an interdisciplinary setting.
- Eligible for registration with a designated professional regulatory body.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
