About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Tow Truck Driver to join our team at Alberta Safe Towing Service. As a Tow Truck Driver, you will be responsible for providing emergency roadside assistance and towing services to our customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Customer Service: Address customers' complaints or concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Towing and Recovery: Drive lighter, special purpose trucks to recover and tow vehicles in emergency situations.
  • Vehicle Inspection: Perform pre-trip, en route, and post-trip inspections to ensure the vehicle is in good working condition.
  • Equipment Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance and repairs on the tow truck and equipment.
  • Documentation: Maintain accurate records of towing and recovery activities, including driver logbooks and inspection reports.
  • Communication: Receive and relay information to central dispatch and communicate with customers and other stakeholders as needed.
Requirements
  • Licenses and Certifications: Class 3/3F/DF Licence (trailer truck, vehicles with more than 3 axles)
  • Experience: Experience an asset, but not required
  • Physical Demands: Physically demanding role requiring the ability to handle heavy loads and work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Work Schedule: 30 to 44 hours per week, with overtime required as needed.
