We are seeking a skilled and experienced Culinary Team Member to join our team at H&P Noodle House Corp. as a Kitchen Operations Specialist. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the preparation and cooking of complete meals and individual dishes, as well as managing kitchen operations and supervising kitchen staff and helpers.
Key Responsibilities- Food Preparation and Cooking: Determine the size of food portions and costs, prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods, and inspect kitchens and food service areas to ensure high-quality standards.
- Kitchen Operations Management: Train staff in preparation, cooking, and handling of food, order supplies and equipment, and maintain inventory and records of food, supplies, and equipment.
- Supervision and Leadership: Supervise kitchen staff and helpers, recruit and hire staff, and manage kitchen operations to ensure efficient and effective food preparation and service.
- Work Environment and Conditions: Work in a fast-paced environment, standing for extended periods, and work under pressure to meet deadlines and quality standards.
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a kitchen or food service environment.
- Work Setting: Restaurant or food service environment.
- Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Attention to detail, fast-paced environment, standing for extended periods, and work under pressure.
- Personal Suitability: Client focus, flexibility, judgement, organized, reliability, and ability to work in a team environment.
