Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Long Haul Truck Driver to join our team at 4Tracks Ltd. The ideal candidate will have a valid Class 1 or A driver's license, Air Brakes Endorsement, and experience driving cross-border routes. The successful applicant will be responsible for transporting goods safely and efficiently, adhering to all relevant regulations and company policies.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Drive as part of a two-person team or convoy, ensuring the safe transportation of goods across borders.
  2. Load and unload goods, adhering to all safety protocols and procedures.
  3. Regularly inspect vehicles, checking tires, lights, brakes, cold storage, and other equipment to ensure they are in good working condition.
  4. Perform pre-trip, en route, and post-trip inspections, documenting any issues or concerns.
  5. Relay information to central dispatch, providing updates on vehicle status and any potential issues.
  6. Tarping and ensuring the safety and security of cargo during transportation.
  7. Transport and handle dangerous goods, adhering to all relevant regulations and procedures.
Required Certifications and Licenses
  • Air Brakes Endorsement
  • Driver's License (Class 1 or A)
Work Environment

This is a permanent position with a 50-hour workweek. The successful applicant will be required to travel extensively, including cross-border routes and overnight stays. A cellular phone and steel-toed safety boots are required for the role.
