About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Database Systems Analyst to join our team at Compest Solutions Inc. as a key member of our IT department.

Key Responsibilities
  • Data Collection and Analysis

Collect and analyze data to identify areas for improvement within our organization's IT infrastructure, ensuring data-driven decision making.

Database Development and Maintenance

Design, develop, and maintain computer databases to support business operations, ensuring data accuracy and integrity.

Customer Requirements Documentation

Document customers' requirements for projects, ensuring clear understanding and effective delivery.

Data Security and Access Control

Implement measures to prevent unauthorized access to data, ensuring data security and compliance.

Collaboration and Liaison

Liaise with staff on data requirements, collection, and availability, ensuring seamless data flow.

Database Design and Development

Design and develop databases to meet business needs, ensuring scalability and performance.

Database Management and Analysis

Operate database management systems to analyze data, providing insights for business growth.

Data Policy and Procedure Development

Research and document data requirements, data collection, and administration policy, as well as data access rules, ensuring compliance and best practices.

Network Access and Usage Policy

Develop policies and procedures for network access and usage, as well as data backup and recovery, ensuring data security and integrity.

Team Leadership and Coordination

Lead and coordinate teams of data administrators in the development and implementation of data policies, standards, and models, ensuring effective data management.

Requirements
  • Education

Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as Computer Science or Information Technology.

Experience

2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a related field, with a strong understanding of database systems and data analysis.

Language

English language proficiency, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Work Hours

30 to 40 hours per week, with a flexible work schedule to accommodate business needs.
