Job Title: Database Analyst

At Shirah Migration Incorporated, we are seeking a highly skilled Database Analyst to join our team. As a Database Analyst, you will play a critical role in designing and developing databases to support our business operations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop databases to meet business requirements
  • Operate database management systems to analyze data and provide insights
  • Research and document data requirements, data collection and administration policy, and data access rules
  • Develop policies and procedures for network access and usage and for the backup and recovery of data
  • Collect and document user's requirements
Requirements:
  • College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in database management
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Work Environment:

As a Database Analyst at Shirah Migration Incorporated, you will work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines. You will be required to work under pressure and maintain attention to detail.

Support for Newcomers and Refugees:
  • Recruit and support newcomers and refugees who were displaced by a conflict or a natural disaster
  • Provide mentorship programs that pair newcomers and refugees with experienced employees
  • Offer diversity and cross-cultural training to create a welcoming work environment
Support for Veterans:
  • Recruit and support Veterans and other candidates with military experience
Support for Indigenous People:
  • Provide cultural competency training and awareness training to all employees
Support for Visible Minorities:
  • Provide diversity and cross-cultural training to create a welcoming work environment

We offer a permanent position with 35 hours of work per week and English as the primary work language.
