Key Responsibilities
- Reporting and Analytics
Design, analyze, and model organizational and third-party data to provide actionable insights that support business decision-making.
Data GovernanceDevelop and implement enterprise data standards, guidelines, and best practices to ensure data quality and integrity.
Business InsightsContribute to the evolution of our Data and Analytics team by developing improvements to data availability and quality.
Data ModelingPerform data modeling to quantify business performance and evaluate operational changes.
Insight GenerationInterpret data, identify relevant analyses, and develop use cases to drive business outcomes.
Trend AnalysisMonitor trends over time and provide actionable insights that support the active management of our business areas.
CommunicationClearly present findings and recommendations to both technical and non-technical audiences.
ComplianceAdhere to legal guidelines regarding critical and confidential information.
Task ExecutionExecute tasks with a moderate level of guidance and direction.
CollaborationPartner with other analytical teams across the organization and participate in special projects.
ReportingBuild dashboards and prepare reports for business units.
Ad-Hoc RequestsRespond to and fulfill ad-hoc data requests.
Requirements
- Experience
Minimum of four years of experience in a data analytics role, preferably in the insurance industry.
Knowledge and SkillsFluent in Excel, SQL, Python, and Cloud technology. Experience with GCP is a bonus.
Technical SkillsExperience with Looker, Tableau, Power BI, Alteryx, Crystal Reports, and Web Intelligence are an asset.
Soft SkillsStrong interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills with the ability to effectively interact with senior levels of internal and external leadership.
EducationBachelor's Degree in Business, Economics, Mathematics, Finance, Statistics, or a related field.
