About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Landscape Laborer to join our team at Atlas Landscaping Inc. As a key member of our grounds maintenance team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the upkeep and beauty of our outdoor spaces.

Responsibilities
  • Education and Training: No formal degree or certification is required, but a willingness to learn and develop your skills is essential.
  • Experience: We offer on-the-job training to help you develop the skills and knowledge needed to succeed in this role.
  • Work Setting: You will work in various locations, including residential and commercial properties, to maintain and enhance the outdoor spaces.
  • Tasks:
    • Assist with Landscape Constructions: You will work alongside our experienced team to assist with the construction and installation of outdoor features, such as patios, walkways, and gardens.
    • Weed, Prune, and Trim Trees and Plants: You will be responsible for maintaining the health and appearance of trees and plants, including pruning, trimming, and weeding.
    • Rake and Collect Refuse: You will ensure that outdoor spaces are kept clean and free of debris by raking and collecting refuse.
    • Lay Sod or Seed: You will assist with the installation of new lawns and gardens by laying sod or seeding.
    • Plant Bulbs, Flowers, Shrubs, and Trees: You will help to enhance the beauty of outdoor spaces by planting a variety of flowers, shrubs, and trees.
    • Apply Fertilizers: You will apply fertilizers to promote healthy growth and development of plants and trees.
    • Water and Tend to Plants, Lawns, and/or Gardens: You will ensure that plants, lawns, and gardens receive the necessary care and attention to thrive.
  • Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: This role requires you to work in a fast-paced environment with repetitive tasks, and you must be physically capable of performing the duties required.
  • Work Term: This is a permanent position, offering a stable and secure career path.
  • Work Language: English is the primary language spoken in this role.
  • Hours: You will work 40 hours per week, with a regular schedule and opportunities for overtime.
