Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced IT Project Manager III to lead large-scale complex projects and programs from inception to completion. The successful candidate will have a strong background in IT project management, with expertise in multiple project management methodologies, including Agile, Waterfall, and Scrum.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage large-scale projects and programs to successful completion
  • Work multiple projects simultaneously
  • Identify and align project objectives with company goals
  • Oversee strategic plan, monitoring and adapting as needed
  • Expertly create and manage all necessary documentation
  • Monitor, drive and manage all aspects of project scope
  • Clearly communicate and manage project expectations to all stakeholders
  • Expertly facilitate all project-related meetings
  • Expertly manage projects in/via multiple project management methodologies
  • Participate in the development and evolution of PMO standards
Requirements
  • 8 to 10+ years of experience with highly complex IT projects/programs from inception to completion
  • Master's Degree in IT Project Management, Business Analysis or IT Leadership preferred; combination of relevant education and work experience considered in lieu of degree
  • Project Management Professional (PMP), Masters Certification in IT Project Management, Certified Scrum Master or similar work experience is preferred
  • 5+ years of experience in the commercial aviation field or relatable experience
  • 5+ years of experience with enterprise network systems
  • 8+ years of experience in IT implementation, development or complex process changes
  • Experience with providing leadership to business units for establishing technology direction and utilization
  • Specific proven experience with managing external vendor relationships as pertains to project delivery
Preferred Qualifications
  • Advanced knowledge of use case, business, business requirement, functional requirement and user stories validation and management
  • Advanced knowledge of Agile, Waterfall, POC, Hybrid, Kanban, Scrum project management methodology
  • Expert level knowledge of IT project management templates and software
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively set project management standards to specific requirements and unify project teams around those standards
Work Environment

The incumbent will work in a typical office environment, adequately heated and cooled, with standard office equipment, including PC, copier, fax machine, and printer.
