About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to join our Retail Lending Technologies team as a Business Solutions Expert. As a key member of our Agile team, you will be responsible for developing lending solutions for retail customers of Scotiabank.

Key Responsibilities
  • Implementation and operational support of retail lending systems
  • Collaboration with technology-focused peers, business clients, and operations teams on multiple projects
  • Review and evaluation of business initiatives, products, and projects related to retail lending systems
  • Formulation of insightful guidance and input to business leaders
  • Refinement of technical requirements and guidance based on industry best practices
  • Unit testing, debugging, documenting, and implementing of applications and scripts
  • Estimation and planning of development efforts required for various projects and enhancements
  • Leadership of implementation efforts for code deployments to production
  • Support of operations and accounting teams, managing Service Now queues, tasks, and incidents
  • Participation in production issue analysis and root cause analysis for production issues and implementation issues
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related discipline
  • Specialized knowledge of automotive lending
  • Strong working knowledge of data mining tools
  • Strong technical solution management experience and skills
  • Strong capability to work with senior business leaders
