About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Pastry Chef to join our team at OBR Catering Ltd. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking complete meals and specialty foods for events such as banquets.

Key Responsibilities
  • Menu Planning and Execution: Plan and prepare menus that meet the highest quality standards, ensuring that all dishes are expertly prepared and presented.
  • Catering and Events: Prepare and cook food for events such as banquets, weddings, and corporate functions, working closely with clients to understand their needs and preferences.
  • Food Requisition and Supply Chain Management: Requisition food and kitchen supplies, ensuring that all ingredients and materials are of the highest quality and meet our company's standards.
  • Client Consultation and Communication: Consult with clients regarding their catering needs, providing expert advice and guidance to ensure that their events are a success.
  • Team Collaboration and Leadership: Work closely with our culinary team to ensure that all events are executed to the highest standard, providing leadership and guidance as needed.
Requirements
  • Education and Experience: A minimum of 1 year of experience as a Pastry Chef, with a strong background in menu planning and execution.
  • Language and Communication: Fluency in English, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Work Environment and Hours: Ability to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment, with a minimum of 30 hours per week.
