Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Electrical Technologist to join our team at Kinectrics. As an Electrical Technologist, you will be responsible for performing lab and field tests, preparing technical reports, and responding to customer inquiries.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform routine investigations and technical studies for customers in the field of electrical testing and inspections.
- Conduct inspections of products and document findings on inspection forms.
- Perform lab and field tests using standard techniques and provide support in laboratory or field environments.
- Assemble products, including soldering, wiring, and mechanical assembly.
- Test products to approved procedures using measurement and test equipment.
- Complete required paperwork to support our QA program.
- Participate in the analysis of test results and data using standard software packages.
- Write reports of a routine nature and prepare records of test methods, observations, and test data.
- Respond to customer inquiries and maintain good customer relations.
- Ensure customer satisfaction by following good quality and safety practices.
- Perform clerical duties, such as word processing and maintaining filing and record systems.
Requirements
- Completion of Secondary School in technical studies or equivalent.
- Up to 5 years related experience or equivalent advanced education in Electrical Engineering Technology, Electronics, or similar.
- Experience using modern test equipment and instrumentation.
- Demonstrated knowledge of electrical principles.
- Experience in troubleshooting electrical/electronic devices, testing.
- Good computer skills for data acquisition and analysis.
- Good knowledge of QA principles and safety practices.
- High level of initiative and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to be granted nuclear site security clearance.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong customer service orientation and interpersonal skills.
