Job Summary

We are seeking a highly qualified Academic Faculty Member to join our team at Acsenda School of Management. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching courses in Hospitality Management, providing leadership to students, and contributing to the development of our programs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Teaching and Curriculum Development: Teach courses in Hospitality Management, develop and update course materials, and ensure that courses are current with academic knowledge and professional practice.
  • Student Leadership and Support: Provide leadership and guidance to students in the Hospitality Management program, and support student retention initiatives.
  • Research and Scholarship: Conduct research and engage in scholarly activities to stay current in the field and contribute to the development of teaching and learning in Hospitality Management.
  • Program Development and Administration: Assist the Director with course and program administration, and contribute to the development of our programs.
  • Professional Development: Participate in regular faculty meetings, contribute to faculty development, and engage in professional development activities to stay current in the field.
Requirements
  • Education: Master's degree in Hospitality Management or a related field (Doctoral degree preferred).
  • Experience: Two years or more of directly related post-secondary teaching experience, and 5 or more years of related professional/industry experience.
  • Skills: Ability to relate concepts to business practice, employ current pedagogical techniques, and work collaboratively with other faculty and staff.

  • Competitive Salary: $77,400-$95,000.
