Are you committed to upholding exceptional safety practices in the construction industry? MatchBox Consulting Group is on the lookout for a diligent and proactive Construction Safety Officer to play a vital role in ensuring that safety initiatives are effectively executed and that construction sites adhere to all applicable regulations.

Primary Responsibilities:
  1. Oversee and manage safety documentation, ensuring adherence to regulations on-site.
  2. Conduct routine inspections and enforce established safety protocols.
  3. Facilitate orientation for new employees and lead safety/toolbox discussions.
  4. Respond to First Aid incidents and handle incident reporting.
  5. Carry out risk assessments and implement preventive strategies.
  6. Compile monthly reports detailing safety incidents and compliance status.
Required Qualifications:
  1. Completion of Level 2 Occupational First Aid Training is mandatory.
  2. Certification in Construction Safety Officer Training is advantageous.
  3. Fluency in English, both written and verbal, is essential.
  4. Excellent interpersonal and problem-solving abilities.
  5. Familiarity with WorkSafe Regulations and risk management practices.
