**Job Summary:**

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Molding Maintenance Technician to join our team at Polytainers Inc. As a Molding Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for assisting the Maintenance Manager and Maintenance Mechanics with troubleshooting and repairing molding machines, as well as performing preventative maintenance tasks.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in troubleshooting and repairing molding machines, including hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
  • Perform preventative maintenance tasks, such as cleaning and inspecting equipment, to ensure optimal performance.
  • Assist in maintaining a clean and organized work environment, including keeping parts and tools organized and easily accessible.
  • Collaborate with other departments, such as production and maintenance, to resolve issues and improve processes.
  • Monitor and ensure compliance with health and safety protocols, including HACCP and SQF.

Requirements:

  • Working towards a College diploma in Mechanical/Industrial Engineering.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment and communicate with colleagues and management.
  • Flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced production environment.
