Job Summary

The New York State is seeking highly skilled Psychiatrists to provide mental health services to its clients. As a Psychiatrist, you will be responsible for providing comprehensive and recovery-oriented psychiatric treatment services built on principles of effective, measurable, and accountable care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide psychiatric treatment services to clients, including assessment, diagnosis, and treatment planning.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans that address the unique needs of each client.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure that all services are integrated to promote mental and physical health and recovery.
  • Prescribe and manage medications as needed.
  • Conduct regular assessments and evaluations to monitor client progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary.
Requirements
  • Must be a licensed medical doctor in the state of New York.
  • Must have completed an accredited training program in general psychiatry.
  • Must be eligible for full and unconditional participation in the Medicaid and Medicare programs.
Working Conditions

As a Psychiatrist, you will work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, providing mental health services to clients in a variety of settings. You will be required to work independently and as part of a team, and to maintain accurate and confidential records of client interactions.
