Job Title: Psychiatrist

We are seeking a skilled Psychiatrist to join our team at the New York State Department of Mental Health. As a Psychiatrist, you will play a critical role in providing mental health services to our clients.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide comprehensive and recovery-oriented psychiatric treatment services
  • Ensure that all services are integrated to promote mental and physical health and recovery
  • Prescribe medication as needed
  • Work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to provide holistic care
Requirements:
  • License to practice medicine in New York State
  • Completion of an accredited training program in general psychiatry
  • Board certification in general psychiatry or child and adolescent psychiatry
  • Eligibility for full and unconditional participation in the Medicaid and Medicare programs
