About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Truck Driver Supervisor to join our team at Big Rig Hauling. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily activities of our drivers and ensuring the smooth operation of our transportation services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and Coordinate Drivers: Oversee the daily activities of our drivers, ensuring they are aware of their schedules, routes, and any changes to their assignments.
  • Monitor and Improve Operations: Identify areas for improvement in our operations and implement measures to increase efficiency and productivity.
  • Train and Develop Drivers: Provide training and coaching to our drivers to ensure they have the skills and knowledge needed to perform their jobs effectively.
  • Coordinate Repairs and Maintenance: Oversee the repair and maintenance of our fleet of trucks, ensuring they are in good working condition and meet all regulatory requirements.
  • Manage Schedules and Routes: Coordinate the scheduling and routing of our drivers, ensuring they are aware of their assignments and any changes to their schedules.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a supervisory or management role in the transportation industry
  • Skills: Strong leadership and communication skills, ability to work under pressure, flexibility, and a team player mentality
Work Environment

As a Truck Driver Supervisor at Big Rig Hauling, you will work in a fast-paced environment with a team of experienced drivers and operations staff. You will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our transportation services, and will work closely with our drivers and other team members to achieve this goal.
