About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Truck Drivers Supervisor to join our team at ALTALINK LOGISTICS LTD. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for overseeing the activities of our truck drivers and ensuring the smooth execution of our logistics operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Training and Development: Develop and implement training programs to enhance the skills and knowledge of our truck drivers, ensuring they are equipped to handle various scenarios and challenges.
  • Health and Safety: Ensure that all health and safety regulations are strictly adhered to, maintaining a safe working environment for our drivers and the general public.
  • Personnel Management: Recommend personnel actions, including promotions, transfers, and disciplinary measures, to ensure the optimal performance of our team.
  • Logistics Coordination: Coordinate repairs and rentals of vehicles, as well as the requisitioning or ordering of materials, equipment, and supplies, to maintain our fleet's efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Supervision: Directly supervise a team of truck drivers, providing guidance, support, and feedback to ensure they meet our high standards.
  • Experience and Education: Manage the experience and education requirements for our truck drivers, ensuring they meet the necessary qualifications for the role.
Requirements
  • 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a similar role
  • Permanent employment
  • English as the primary language of work
  • 40 hours per week
