About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Framing Specialist to join our team at Delta Framing & Renovation Ltd. As a key member of our construction team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality of workmanship in the framing and installation of residential and commercial structures.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare layouts in accordance with building codes and regulations, utilizing measuring tools and equipment.
  • Measure, cut, shape, assemble, and join materials made of wood, wood substitutes, lightweight steel, and other materials to create precise and durable structures.
  • Build foundations, install floor beams, lay subflooring, and erect walls and roof systems to meet the highest standards of quality and safety.
  • Fabricate and install windows, doors, stairs, mouldings, and hardware to ensure a seamless and secure finish.
  • Maintain, repair, and renovate residences and wooden structures in various settings, including mills, mines, hospitals, industrial plants, and other establishments.
Work Environment

As a Framing Specialist, you will work in a fast-paced construction environment with a combination of sitting, standing, and walking. You will be required to handle heavy loads and work under tight deadlines. Our company provides safety equipment and gear, including hard hats and safety vests, to ensure your well-being on the job site.

Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in the construction industry.
  • Excellent judgment and reliability.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
  • Permanent work term with 40 hours per week.
  • Work language: English.
