About the Role

R.S.D FRAMING & FORMING LTD. is seeking a skilled Framing and Forming Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our construction crew, you will be responsible for ensuring the successful completion of our framing and forming projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Estimating and Planning: Prepare detailed estimates of labor and material costs for framing and forming projects.
  • Blueprint Reading and Layout: Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and sketches to determine work requirements and prepare layouts in accordance with building codes.
  • Material Preparation and Installation: Measure, cut, shape, assemble, and join materials made of wood, wood substitutes, lightweight steel, and other materials to construct framing and forming structures.
  • Project Coordination and Supervision: Schedule and coordinate work on sites, supervise other workers, and ensure that projects are completed on time and within budget.
  • Communication and Teamwork: Collaborate with other team members to achieve project goals and objectives.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a related field.
  • Work Setting: Construction and renovation projects.
  • Language: English.
  • Work Hours: 35 hours per week.
