Job Overview

Join Montel Plastics Ltd. as a dedicated Handyman/Woman responsible for ensuring the upkeep and functionality of our facilities. This permanent position offers a full-time schedule of 40 hours per week with a focus on delivering high-quality maintenance services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct adjustments and minor repairs on heating, cooling, ventilation, plumbing, and electrical systems, while coordinating with tradespeople for larger repair tasks.
  • Manage property listings and advertise vacancies as needed.
  • Maintain accurate records of rent rolls and perform necessary reconciliations.
  • Execute minor repairs on various appliances to ensure operational efficiency.
  • Carry out safety and security inspections to uphold workplace standards.
  • Oversee and guide other maintenance staff to ensure effective teamwork.
  • Assist in moving heavy furniture, equipment, and supplies as required.
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks, including painting and drywall repairs, to enhance facility aesthetics.
  • Work independently with minimal supervision, demonstrating reliability and self-motivation.
  • Keep an organized inventory of maintenance equipment and supplies.
Work Environment

This role involves working under pressure and performing repetitive tasks that can be physically demanding, including bending, crouching, and kneeling.

Qualifications

Applicants should possess:

  • A secondary school graduation certificate.
  • A minimum of 1 to 2 years of relevant experience in maintenance or a similar field.
