We are seeking a full-time Licensed Mechanical Technician to join our team at our Automotive Centre. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for inspecting vehicles, testing drive vehicles for diagnostic issues, and performing repairs and replacements as needed.

Responsibilities:

  • Inspect vehicles and test drive vehicles for diagnostic issues.
  • Read and understand work orders created for work to be completed.
  • Capable of reading and comprehending automotive repair procedures.
  • Able to work with a variety of metals and plastics, as well as glass, electrical, and mechanical parts.
  • Experience using alignment measuring equipment.
  • Experience using hoists and other tools.
  • Repair and replace components required (tie rods, wheel bearings, calipers etc.).
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

  • Required Apprentice or Fully Licensed Mechanic with a minimum one year work experience in the field.
  • Ability to diagnose and troubleshoot issues using the latest technology and equipment.
  • Proficiency with computers and automotive scanners.
  • Must work well in a fast-paced environment and as part of a team.

Benefits:

This is a full-time position working 42.5 hours per week, Monday through Friday from 8am to 5pm. We offer full benefits and RRSP matching opportunities upon completion of the probationary period.
