At 3Play Media, we're on a mission to make video accessible to everyone. As a Senior Billing Analyst, you'll play a critical role in our day-to-day operations, ensuring that our financial transactions are accurate, timely, and efficient.

About the Role

We're seeking a highly detail-oriented and organized individual to join our team. As a Senior Billing Analyst, you'll be responsible for the day-to-day order to cash operations, including invoicing, cash and collections activities. You'll work closely with our finance team to optimize our financial transactions and systems, ensuring that we're on track, on time, and on good terms with our valued partners.

Key Responsibilities

  • Reconcile payments and customer accounts to ensure accuracy and efficiency
  • Communicate with customers regarding past-due accounts to strengthen relationships and drive collections
  • Manage the company's finances inbox to answer customer and sales inquiries regarding customer receivables and new customer onboarding
  • Assist in streamlining and improving the accounts receivable process, identifying areas of performance improvement
  • Gather and verify invoices for appropriate documentation prior to payment
  • Maintain accounts receivable records to ensure aging is up to date, credits and collections are applied, uncollectible amounts are accounted for, and miscellaneous differences are cleared
  • Perform daily cash management duties, including the recording of bank deposits, updating and distribution of cash receipt logs, and posting of cash to the accounts receivable sub-ledger
  • Monitor and collect accounts receivable by contacting clients
  • Prepare analytical and ratio analysis in relation to A/R for management to gain a better understanding of how collection efforts are progressing and reporting results to management
  • Perform monthly balance sheet reconciliations
  • Ad hoc reporting and analysis as required

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in accounts receivable or related roles
  • Understanding of basic principles of finance, accounting, and bookkeeping
  • Superb time management and attention to detail
  • Ability to operate and prioritize tasks in a high-volume, tech-oriented environment
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel
  • Experience in NetSuite a plus
  • Strong mathematical skills
  • Experience in driving process improvement
