At 3Play Media, we're seeking a highly skilled Senior Billing Analyst to join our team. As a key member of our financial operations team, you'll be responsible for the day-to-day order to cash operations of the company, including invoicing, cash and collections activities.

About the Role

The ideal candidate will have a keen attention to detail and strive to continuously improve the Company's quote to cash process across all subsidiaries. You'll work closely with our finance team to optimize our financial transactions and systems, and strengthen and grow relationships with clients by communicating with customers regarding past-due accounts.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the company in optimizing our financial transactions and systems by performing reconciliation of payments and customer accounts
  • Strengthen and grow relationships with clients by communicating with customers regarding past-due accounts
  • Manage the company finances inbox to answer customer and sales inquiries regarding customer receivables and new customer onboarding
  • Assist in streamlining and improving the accounts receivable process identifying areas of performance improvement
  • Gather and verify invoices for appropriate documentation prior to payment
  • Maintain accounts receivable records to ensure aging is up to date, credits and collections are applied, uncollectible amounts are accounted for, and miscellaneous differences are cleared
  • Perform daily cash management duties, including the recording of bank deposits, updating and distribution of cash receipt logs, and posting of cash to the accounts receivable sub-ledger
  • Monitor and collect accounts receivable by contacting clients
  • Prepare analytical and ratio analysis in relation to A/R for management to gain a better understanding of how collection efforts are progressing and reporting results to management
  • Perform monthly balance sheet reconciliations
  • Ad hoc reporting and analysis as required

Requirements

  • 3+ years-experience in accounts receivable or related roles
  • Understanding basic principles of finance, accounting, and bookkeeping
  • Superb time management and attention to detail
  • Ability to operate and prioritize tasks in a high-volume, tech-oriented environment
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel
  • Experience in NetSuite a plus
  • Strong mathematical skills
  • Experience in driving process improvement
