About the Role

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Bookkeeping Specialist to join our team at 1615517 Alberta Ltd. O/A The Chopped Leaf. As a key member of our accounting team, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, preparing financial statements, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Financial Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, including ledgers, journals, and other accounting documents.
  • Financial Statement Preparation: Prepare financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
  • Account Reconciliation: Reconcile accounts to ensure accuracy and completeness of financial records.
  • Tax Preparation: Prepare and submit tax returns, including GST and other applicable taxes.
  • Financial Reporting: Prepare financial reports, including statistical and accounting reports, to support business decision-making.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in bookkeeping or a related field.
  • Language: English.
  • Work Hours: 30 hours per week.
