Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Cloud Infrastructure Specialist to join our team at Svitla Systems, Inc. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining our cloud infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Orchestration and Automation: Build and maintain our server orchestration using Puppet/Ansible, ensuring seamless deployment and scaling of our infrastructure.
  2. Issue Investigation: Collaborate with our engineering team to investigate and resolve complex technical issues.
  3. Monitoring and Support: Implement and maintain proper monitoring using Icinga2, ensuring our server environment is always up-to-date and running smoothly.
  4. Remote Triage and Automation: Work closely with our systems engineers to remotely troubleshoot and resolve physical server issues, and develop automation safeguards to prevent similar issues in the future.
  5. Internal Tooling Development: Design and develop internal tools using Python to streamline our workflow and improve efficiency.
Requirements
  1. 5+ years of experience as a DevOps Engineer.
  2. Good understanding of infrastructure administration.
  3. 3+ years of commercial experience with Kubernetes.
  4. Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python.
  5. Strong knowledge of UNIX and TCP/IP network fundamentals.
  6. Experience working in a highly-available, dynamic production environment.
  7. Driven towards automation, remove manual process bottlenecks to increase efficiency.
  8. Practical experience with containerization and orchestration.
  9. Experience with configuration management.
  10. Understanding of virtual machine management.
  11. Upper-intermediate level of English.
