Job Summary

We are seeking a Graduate Process Improvement Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our process engineering group, you will be responsible for leading projects with minimal supervision and coordinating with other disciplines to ensure successful project execution.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Lead projects as the senior process engineer with minimal supervision.
  2. Coordinate, delegate, and supervise the assignment and execution of all work/scope related to the job.
  3. Complete resource hour estimates for process tasks to execute a project and manage the budget.
  4. Provide input into project schedules, change notices, and coordinate with project controls.
  5. Coordinate with other disciplines and project team regarding project status.
  6. Attend client meetings as the process engineering representative.
  7. Generate detailed process calculations and associated reports.
  8. Review detailed process calculations completed by other members of the process team.
  9. Generate detailed simulations using Honeywell UniSim and Aspen HYSYS.
  10. Review control philosophies and SDKs.

Requirements:

  1. 10+ years of process engineering related experience.
  2. Registered as a P.Eng. with APEGA.
  3. Proficient with Honeywell UniSim and Aspen HYSYS process simulation software.
  4. Familiar with API STD 521, API STD 520 Part 1 & Part 2, API STD 2000, API RP 14E, ASME B31.3, CSA Z662, ASME Section VIII Div. 1.
  5. Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to interact with all levels of management, clients, and vendors.
  6. Self-motivated and capable of working in a project team environment.
  7. Exceptional multi-tasking abilities.
