About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Building Maintenance Supervisor to join our team at Crest Hotel LP. As a key member of our facilities management team, you will be responsible for overseeing the maintenance and upkeep of our properties.

Key Responsibilities
  • Reporting and Record Keeping: Prepare and submit accurate and timely reports on maintenance activities, including production and other reports.
  • Team Supervision: Supervise and coordinate the work of maintenance staff, ensuring that tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
  • Training and Development: Train or arrange for training of maintenance staff to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties.
  • Equipment Maintenance: Set up and maintain equipment and machinery to ensure optimal performance and efficiency.
  • Cost Estimation: Estimate costs and materials required for maintenance projects and activities.
  • Health and Safety: Ensure that all maintenance activities are conducted in accordance with health and safety regulations and guidelines.
  • Supply Chain Management: Requisition or order materials, equipment, and supplies as needed to support maintenance activities.
  • Work Environment: Work in a fast-paced environment with a focus on providing excellent customer service and ensuring the smooth operation of our facilities.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a related field, or equivalent experience.
Working Conditions
  • Work Term: Permanent.
  • Work Language: English.
  • Hours: 35 hours per week.
