About the Role
Rabobank Gruppe is seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to fill the position of Director, Commercial Management. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for leading and managing a team of Relationship Managers in the Canadian marketplace.
Key Responsibilities
- Team Leadership: Lead, motivate, and proactively manage an effective and engaged team of Relationship Managers in relation to business development and sales.
- Performance Management: Proactively manage the performance of the Managing Director in the Area Relationship Managers within the region.
- Succession Planning: Manage succession and the career development of key employees.
- Talent Acquisition: Proactively engage in the identification, selection, and hiring of Relationship Managers and Associates across the franchise, in collaboration with the Managing Director and other strategic leaders, and Head of Rural Canada.
- Industry Expertise: Be a relevant sector knowledge expert within the agricultural industry, supporting the team with this expertise and informing other stakeholders with knowledge and expertise.
- Business Growth: Accountable for business growth and profitability of the Relationship Management team in line with the franchise.
- Commercial Performance: Ownership of the commercial performance of the Relationship Management team.
Requirements
- Education: Bachelor's degree or 10+ years of ag-related financial services experience.
- Agricultural Passion: Must love agriculture and understand the producer experience.
- Canadian Experience: Must have Canadian experience.
- Travel Requirements: Ability to travel regionally and globally, more than 50%.
Compensation
Target Hiring Range: CAD $150,000.00
This position is subject to the terms of Rabobank/Rabobank Canada's compensation plans and policies. The range is reflective of the desired primary physical work location and may be adjusted outside of the projected range based on geographical differentiation if the actual work location of the hired candidate differs from the desired primary location, or for other lawful reasons.
