Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage staff and coordinate operations to ensure the effective delivery of rehabilitative programs and services.

  • Supervise the development of case management plans for facility input and support youth in addressing concerns with their care services and rights.
  • Manage emergency medical crises and security breach situations, and resolve emergency situations.
Requirements:
  • Leadership and managerial skills to manage staff, promote team morale and productivity, and ensure operational effectiveness.
  • Experience using human resources practices, policies, and collective agreements in relation to recruitment, training, and development, and employee relations.
  • Knowledge of financial and administrative procedures, project management principles and methodologies, and issues, disorders, factors, general theories, and techniques impacting youth in a rehabilitative environment.
  • Ability to analyze information to provide appropriate documentation of incidents and respond to inquiries from within and outside the ministry.
