Position Overview

Key Responsibilities
  • Event Promotion: Champion the promotion of conference and meeting services, along with special events.
  • Marketing Strategy Development: Create comprehensive marketing and communication plans tailored to our events.
  • Media Relations: Develop effective media strategies and public relations activities to enhance event visibility.
  • Hospitality Coordination: Assess requirements for hospitality services, including signage and technical support, and manage contracts accordingly.
  • Budget Management: Assist in the preparation and monitoring of event budgets.
  • Event Coordination: Oversee and coordinate all aspects of conference and meeting activities, ensuring every detail is attended to.
  • Speaker Management: Confirm and coordinate speakers for events.
  • Logistics Planning: Plan and arrange accommodation, transportation, and other services for attendees.
  • Documentation: Ensure all necessary documentation is prepared and distributed pre- and post-event.
  • VIP Arrangements: Plan special arrangements for VIP guests.
  • Policy Development: Develop policies and procedures to streamline event management processes.
  • Human Resources: Identify and manage human resource requirements for events.
Qualifications
  • Education: College diploma or equivalent experience in hospitality management.
  • Experience: 2 to 3 years in event planning or related fields.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in MS Excel, MS Office, MS Outlook, MS PowerPoint, and MS Word.
