Our Earth Sciences and Engineering division excels in site planning, spatial information, digital terrain modeling, and various investigations. We provide comprehensive services in rock mechanics, underground structures, geotechnical laboratory testing, flood forecasting, and water resource management.
We are currently seeking a seasoned civil design technician to enhance our Civil Site Development team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design civil infrastructure including roads, stormwater systems, underground utilities, water-retaining structures, and mass excavations for site development projects across various sectors such as mining, infrastructure, and energy.
- Assess CAD project requirements and develop innovative design solutions.
- Draft work methodologies and project steps for effective execution.
- Supervise and assist in 3D modeling for structural designs.
- Manage the production of 3D drawings derived from 3D models.
- Ensure adherence to project procedures and standards.
- Collaborate with other teams on design elements.
- Oversee model and drawing management, providing assistance as necessary.
- Support the training and development of fellow designers within the team.
Qualifications and Experience:
- College diploma (DEC) in Civil Engineering.
- A minimum of 7 years of relevant industry experience.
- Proficient in Autodesk Civil 3D software.
- Familiarity with MicroStation, InRoads, OpenRoads, and ProjectWise software is advantageous.
- Strong ability to manage multiple projects concurrently.
- Adaptability to diverse clients and industries.
- Bilingual proficiency in French and English, both written and spoken.
