Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Waste Treatment Plant Operator to join our team at Ecolomondo Environmental (Hawkesbury) Inc. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating and maintaining our waste treatment plant, ensuring efficient and safe processing of industrial waste.

Key Responsibilities
  • Analyze test results and instrument readings to ensure optimal plant performance
  • Complete and maintain plant logs and reports to track maintenance and operational activities
  • Assist with equipment installation, assembly, and repairs to ensure minimal downtime
  • Monitor and inspect plant equipment and systems to detect malfunctions and ensure normal operation
  • Operate automated or computerized control systems to optimize plant performance
  • Maintain daily logs of operation, maintenance, and safety activities
  • Issue work and test permits to maintenance personnel as required
  • Assist in developing operation, maintenance, and safety procedures to ensure compliance with regulations
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a related field
  • Excellent oral communication and teamwork skills
  • Flexibility and reliability in a fast-paced environment
