This role reports directly to the Branch Manager and is accountable for overseeing the daily operations of the branch.
Key Responsibilities:
Supervise branch personnel, excluding Outside Sales staff, while fostering strong internal relationships. Address employee concerns promptly and confidentially, keeping the branch manager informed on staffing issues. Ensure fair and consistent implementation of company policies and procedures. Provide adequate training to staff to enhance their effectiveness in their roles. Encourage teamwork within the branch. Promote exceptional customer service and branch profitability. Address customer concerns swiftly and professionally, keeping both customers and staff informed about new products and coordinating seminars. Oversee the Health and Safety program at the branch. Exhibit personal responsibility and accountability daily regarding attitude, job performance, professionalism, and commitment to ongoing development. Support and advocate for the company's Core Values of Personal Excellence, Teamwork, and Achievement.Ideal Candidate:
Minimum of five years of experience in plumbing or HVAC with proven product knowledge. Demonstrated supervisory capabilities, including hiring, coaching, disciplining, scheduling, and training employees. Proficient in computer use, with the ability to learn new applications and assist staff with inquiries. Capable of managing situations calmly and efficiently under pressure. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple tasks effectively. Sound judgment in interactions with customers and employees. Proven ability to lead and inspire a team to achieve both personal and organizational goals. Ability to meet strategic objectives with minimal supervision. Excellent interpersonal skills for fostering strong working relationships with customers and colleagues. Capacity to collaborate within a team to achieve shared success.
