About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Mechanic Helper to join our team at Bura Limited. As a Mechanic Helper, you will play a crucial role in supporting our mechanics in the installation, maintenance, and repair of motor vehicles, heavy equipment, and truck-trailer repair.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist mechanics in the performance of tasks, including moving tools, equipment, and materials.
  • Hold stakes during surveying activities and signal safety procedures to other workers and the general public.
  • Help tradespersons, apprentices, and other workers as directed.
  • Clean machines and immediate work areas.
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a related field.
  • Panjabi language proficiency.
  • Ability to work outdoors in noisy, dusty environments.
  • Manual dexterity and ability to handle heavy loads.
  • Combination of sitting, standing, walking, bending, crouching, and kneeling.
  • Work under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Up to 23 kg (50 lbs) weight handling capacity.
  • Steel-toed safety boots and safety glasses/goggles.
Work Environment

The successful candidate will work in a fast-paced environment with a large workload. They will be required to work under pressure and meet deadlines. The work environment will be outdoors, with exposure to noise, dust, and heavy equipment.
