Business Process Improvement Specialist

S.i. Systems is seeking a highly experienced Senior Business Process Consultant to join our team. As a key member of our Health, Safety and Environment Branch, you will play a critical role in improving health and safety culture within the department.
The Health, Safety and Environment Branch is responsible for initiating, coordinating, and managing various health, safety, and environment initiatives. These initiatives aim to transition the organization from a reactive state to a more proactive state, where incidents are prevented rather than responded to.
As a Senior Business Process Consultant, you will use the Lean Six Sigma approach to analyze business functional requirements and identify areas for improvement. You will develop HSE Branch initiative plans and implementation strategies to improve overall health and safety culture.
Key responsibilities include:
- Developing and implementing business process improvements to enhance health and safety culture
- Assisting in the development of programs and/or implementation plans, including tracking and reporting tools
- Developing the NRC health, safety, and environment performance reporting
- Data management and building reports for various audiences
- Knowledge of occupational injuries and incident reporting in the federal government
