A proactive member of school staff who provides additional culture, language, and social support to students in Burns Lake, Francois Lake, Granisle, and Grassy Plains. This role involves working with the school community to promote Indigenous education and cultural awareness.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide cultural and language support to students and staff
- Develop and implement Indigenous education programs
- Collaborate with teachers and staff to integrate Indigenous perspectives into the curriculum
- Support students in their academic and personal development
- Contribute to a positive and inclusive school culture
Requirements:
- Post-secondary education in a related field
- Experience working with Indigenous communities and students
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
